Chipmunk Too Cabin

Our Chipmunk Too Cabin is a beautiful 3 story log cabin overlooking Mirror Lake and Beach in Lake Lure NC/ Blue Ridge mountains located in Riverbend, a private gated mountain community. This cabin has breathtaking views of Chimney Rock mountains from living room and decks. Backyard steps lead to the lake, beach, Broad River and waterfall. Four comfortable, large bedrooms offer sleeping for up to 10 guests (the fourth bedroom is open to the game room with pool table). Two private decks each offer seating and beautiful views of mountains and lake. Riverbend features over 3,500 acres of pristine mountain beauty with two private lakes, river, waterfall, large pavilion overlooking lake with seating and bbq pits, fishing pier at the lake and our old-fashioned Swimming Hole all surrounded by mountain views and abundant wildlife.

Riverbend is a perfect family vacation spot. The Swimming Hole is a great place to drop some tubes in the river for a long, lazy, fun filled vacation day on the river, or spend some quiet time fishing from the pier at Mirror Lake or hike down to the riverwalk and see the waterfall and have a picnic!

Lake Lure in western North Carolina has much to do! Lake Lure beach offers the lake and beach surrounded by spectacular mountain views with a children’s’ play area/ waterslides with lifeguards on duty. There are a number of golf courses in area and also putt-putt course, tennis, horseback riding, a   gem mine, Chimney Rock National Park, numerous hiking and biking trails, zip lining, lakeside and riverside dining, white water rafting, kayaking, boat rentals, fly fishing tours and much more. Nearby attractions include Asheville and Biltmore Estate and winery, Blue Ridge Mountains, Hendersonville, numerous scenic wineries, Dollywood, Great Smokey National Park, Grandfather Mountain, Sliding Rock, North Carolina Arboretum, newly built Tryon International Equestrian Center, with weekly family events, and so much more.
