The Doves Way log cabin vacation rental is newly built and nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Lake Lure NC, and in the private gated mountain community of Riverbend. Doves Way has access to private Mirror Lake and Beach, Broad River ( great for tubing or playing in the small rapids). We are minutes away from beach at Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village with river/lakeside dining, winery, riverfront brewery and more. Centrally located to many great day trips including Asheville NC, Biltmore Estate, Dollywood , Sliding Rock, Linville Falls, The Gorge Zipline, Tryon Equestrian Center ( with weekly outside events and dining) and much more!
The cabin is fully furnished with all linens, towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The main floor master is a queen bedroom with full bath. The second master upstairs is a queen bedroom with a full bathroom. Also upstairs , a loft bedroom/ living room area with a queen sofa sleeper .There are two flat screen TVs with satellite. A DVD player with movies, a PlayStation with games , full sized washer/dryer, many family games, puzzles and movies. There is a charcoal grill on the deck with seating, a hand made log picnic table and a log front porch swing to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! Quiet evening watch the deer and turkeys in the front yard! The large wrap around deck is gated, perfect for children and pets. We have a large, private back yard that backs up to many acres of woods.
The cabin has a great porch perfect for relaxing in the rocking chairs and swing watching the deer after a long summer day or grilling dinner on the barbecue pit. Spend your days at the beach, on the lake, tubing, golfing, shopping, boating ect. and enjoy evenings on the deck!
Lake Lure and the Lake Lure beach are surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and offer spectacular views and a small water park with water slide for younger children with lifeguards in the summer. The allure of Lake Lure NC is without a doubt, the natural beauty that surrounds the town, mountains, waters and wildlife! Chimney Rock National Park, just minutes away, is not to be missed. It offers spectacular views, hiking, ziplining, waterfalls and much more. The Lake Lure marina offers boat rentals and daily boat tours with beautiful nightly dinner cruises. There are shops and restaurants on the Lake and on the Broad River in the town of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. There is also horseback riding, putt putt, zip lining , river tubing, wineries and breweries, gem mining, 3 golf courses, boat tours and rentals and more locally. Nearby: white water rafting ,Grandfather Mountain, Tryon Equestrian Center, Sliding Rock , the towns of Hendersonville and Black Mountain which are known for ‘antiquing’ and have some great restaurants. Dollywood, Biltmore Estate, Gatlinburg TN , Asheville NC (26 miles away) Boone NC , Sugar Mountain in Banner Elk, Blowing Rock are all close enough for a day trip. We are also close to two ski resort areas that offer snow skiing, snow tubing , ice skating and lessons in snow boarding or skiing.
